Objectives of the weaving factory The rightly guided government established Samayel Weaving Factory to realize the following objectives: 1. Preserve the cultural heritage of Omani weaving industry. 2. Revive weaving-related traditional industries and link them with the present age. 3. Encourage traditional craftsmen and weavers to maintain and stick to the Omani weaving industry. 4. Train young men to refurbish their skill in weaving industry. 5. Improve the incomes of the families who depend on weaving-related crafts industries.
